" It's hard to say what is the most memorable thing to mention first about the Podere il Belvedere su Cortona: the beautiful scenic surrounding (it is located close to Cortona in a peaceful and gorgeous part of Tuscany), the thoughtfulness and knowledge of Max and Pamela always ready to give advice and tips on what to do and what to see. The pool looking out over the gorgeous valley was one of our favorite spots.
If you are looking for a restful and carefree holiday check out this place.

" Max and his family are incredible, extremely helpful, they gave us great tips and advice on where to explore and what to try whilst in Tuscany. The property and its views are breathtaking, everything you could need. Greeted with a friendly hello by the family and there beautiful dog. Absolutely couldn't go past this spot. We were able to have a bbq with fresh cuts from the local butchers ( suggested by Max) also enjoyed the local wine, whilst sipping by the pool admiring the view or the olive trees, vineyards and sunset. Couldn't recommend 'il belvedere su cortona' more. We will definitely be coming back. ❤ ”

" Il Belvedere is a heavenly hideout to escape from the busy life, and therefore a place to keep as a really precious secret. So, actually I don't want to sound too enthousiastic, trying to keep it the heavenly and quiet place as I know it for several years now..
Otherwise, owner Max deserves all the credits for his efforts to make it the best agriturismo in Italy. It has the most beautiful views, the apartments are spacious and well decorated, the garden is delightful and the overall atmosphere is so friendly. Home for 1 day now but already counting the days to our next visit ”
